One can never get enough of Venice. So many things to see and do, and so little time. We have yet to experience the gondola ride. Hope you get the opportunity to revisit Venice soon.

There are moments in time when we recall the cathedral of Milan, the Grand Canal of Venice and so on with fondness - not because they are parts of our culture and heritage, but parts of our past memories with our loved ones. You are lucky.

Absolutely, Pak Cik. Didn't we succumb to the "Venice Vice"? A blissfully happy couple oblivious to the children they left behind many oceans away.

Wan,
My son Azrin and his wife beat me to it when he visited Venice recently. Being an airline pilot, of course he has the advantage. With your provocative pictures, there is all the more reason for me to do Italy and of course Venice next.

Wonder who is/are the very lucky person(s) to get the Venice painting(s) by Pak Zawi in due course?

Wan,
Thank you for the URL.
Now I am getting more acquainted with Monet after seeing Cikgu Deen doing a painting based on his work.
The answer to you musing as who will get my first painting of Venice? The answer is simple and a foregone conclusion, it will be Wan Nordin of GUIKP of course. It is fun to paint for someone you know and who appreciates your work. Money alone is not the measure as at this stage my needs are simple and I live a frugal life, and I have enough to live by. My satisfaction is to see a friend satisfied. Mark my word, my first painting of Venice will be yours. Just pray that I will be healthy enough to travel to Italy when the time comes.

O, my heart beats so fast reading your latest comment. InsyaAllah you'll go one better than Monet, and get the opportunity to visit Venice before you turn 68.
